Port Douglas is a tropical town on the coral sea of Queensland, Australia. It’s incredibly famous for being the only town in the world where the rainforest meets the reef. With easy access to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest, Port Douglas is an adventure lover’s paradise.
Port Douglas Plantation Resort happens to be located near all the action so naturally that was the perfect place for us to reside during our stay. With a lagoon style pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens and a poolside bar, we felt like we had entered our own private luxury oasis with a relaxed family friendly vibe. We felt right at home during our stay and highly recommend staying here if Port Douglas is on your list of to do’s.
