On the legendary French Riviera, nestled between the coastal towns of Nice and Cannes, lies a sun kissed medieval city called Antibes. Those who visit are guaranteed to experience sunny days, sandy beaches, and splendid sunsets.
Sitting on the Mediterranean Sea, sprinkled with lavish villas and vibrant multi-million-dollar mega yachts this charming resort town is known for its glitz and glamour. But thats not all that resides here; Amidst the city walls lies a medieval 16th Century Old Town, comprised of cobblestone streets and quiet alleys full of cultural splendor. Antibes has housed artists from all over the world for centuries. One of the town’s most prominent artistic residents was Picasso, who lived in Château Grimaldi for six months back in 1946. The building was later transformed into the Musée Picasso which now showcases his paintings, drawings, and ceramics along with other contemporary artistic displays.
With so much to see and do, lodging in a good location is a must to make the most out of your experience, and we found our stay with the Best Western Hotel Journel Antibes to be the perfect fit to our every need providing us with the utmost comfort and luxury.
